So with another case of a feminist trolling Twitter for “offensive” comments made by men who tweeted under his own name, and has a job that the feminazis could pressure the employers, in this case the city of Toronto, to fire said men for these comments – we are left to wonder what to do with this Twitter thing, or how we should go about our business on said social network.
We as a society have allowed this to happen, we apparently, by now numerous accounts of this behavior, valued someone spending their time looking through people’s tweets looking for “offensive” tweets to publish articles in order to get men fired. You don’t see the same girls going after any women for offensive tweets, it’s almost like no woman ever has tweeted anything offensive. So, we value someone going on a witch hunt, doing nothing productive outside of spending one’s time looking for gossip that they can print in so-called newspapers, and get on a witch hunt to prosecute thought crimes, over actual working men who are professionals, paying taxes, fighting fires, rescuing people, you know, actual work, actual productivity. This is where we are in society. To deny this, is to deny reality. The reality is, no matter the cause or reason, is this is where we are now. Say something on twitter that may be offensive, under your own name, and you might get fired in another feminist witch hunt.
So you have a few options here going forward. Don’t tweet anything offensive, don’t use twitter, or use a pseudonym, and finally, run your own business so you can say whatever the fuck you want and have no one fire you over any trivial shit that goes on the internet. I’m not going to get into why this is bullshit, or reasons, we’ve done that before, but there are unintended, or perhaps in this case, intended, consequences when people do this sort of thing.
Let’s look at the first option. Men stop saying anything that might be even remotely “offensive” – Twitter then quickly will become irrelevant, a pool of homogenous clean network television like community. Nothing of value or relevance will be said, for fear of saying anything and having it come back to haunt them later. Great, don’t have a problem with it, except that I like the concept of twitter, and I like being able to use it for self promotion of my ambitions and career. If it becomes irrelevant than promotion becomes obsolete on this forum.
If we all stop using twitter, see above.
Using a pseudonym. Now many of us use this, it provides some protection on-line, as the company we may work for aren’t directly linked to you, therefore you can say whatever you want, and should be free from firing because whatever you said isn’t something negative to the company. That is until we are all doing this, and feminists on a witch hunt run out of men tweeting under their own name, and want to start bringing you down, will investigate further to get your real name, and then print both your fake name, and your real name, and then whammo, you are now associated with your fake name and thus bringing bad PR to your company that you work for. Doubt that they will do this? You doubt the will of these people to waste their time doing things to enhance their narcissistic behavior and need to feel like a social hero.
That leaves us with the only real option that you can do to protect yourself. Of course if your business relies on public opinion and either all of the above happen and Twitter becomes irrelevant, than you either won’t be using twitter, or you will get overt and loud boycotts of your company. Hopefully you have a big enough fan base or you have a product that can with stand a public outrage.
So we have arrived at a cross roads here with twitter. It is not going to get better any time soon, it will only get worse. This will either take the careers of more men, or ruin their lives, or Twitter will fade into obscurity and only be used for chicks to tweet about their narcissistic bullshit about where there are right now, and what coffee they drink and such nonsense. I provide no real answers, only the reality of what Twitter has become. Use at your own discretion. And it would be a good idea to delete all your tweets after each week. Start now with the beginning, then after a week of tweeting, delete all of them. See the tweets may still exist on the Twitter servers somewhere, but they’ll be inaccessible to trolling feminists on a witch hunt.
Unfortunately it has come to this.
